XVIII DPPI SEE Regional Meeting Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo 6-7 April 2009

It is an honour and pleasure to invite our members and partners to the XVIII Regional Meeting of DPPI SEE which will be held in Sarajevo, BiH on 6-7 th APRIL 2009.Our respectful members and partners will be accommodated in the Hotel Europe www.hoteleurope.ba) and conference rooms will be provided in the same facility as well. Today, DPPI SEE has reached its XVIIIth Regional Meeting, this fact also proves that DPPI SEE is one of the most oldest, mature and strongest initiative in the region with its almost half decade of history full of successful region wide achievements. It is also obvious that the assured contributions of our members and growing support from our partners will carry DPPI SEE to its deserved place soon.

The enactment of MoU for regional cooperation and coordination in the field of disaster prevention and preparedness is the mile stone and indestructible proof of good will for future activities in order to prevent disparaging results of natural or man made hazards which is the common problem of all countries regardless the political borders. The only way of reducing impacts of these hazards is only possible through a constructive development of cooperation and collaboration with a professional spirit. And DPPI Secretariat believes that this common sense and good will with professional spirit will shape next coming XVIIIth DPPI SEE Regional Meeting in a very positive and fruitful way.

Please also be advised that ground transportation will be provided as well, in order to have a proper planning for necessary arrangements, DPPI Secretariat is kindly requesting registration forms before the deadline 25th February 2009.
